TED India: silk and flower market tour

one of the things i was most excited about for this trip to india was the colors. from the sarees to the spices, this country pops with color at every turn, and today's experience was no exception.

this morning, i went on a tour of mysore. first stop was a government silk factory. i will post more on that later, but it was amazing to see how they make the beautiful silks mysore is famous for. we weren't allowed to take photos in the plant, so i won't be able to post any here. after the silk factory, we went to a flower and produce market downtown. the colors were unreal.

Wow, that first picture is amazing! Seriously very national geographic. What a cool experience!
